You may be kindly aware that Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS) which is working under Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) as the national body responsible for granting accreditations at the UAE. ENAS now is intending to sign MRA with ILAC, the apex body in this field, which will reduce the cost of testing and retesting and assist in overcoming technical barriers to trade.  For this reason ESMA/ENAS is going through tremendous changes and improvements. The first step is to start the capacity building of ENAS by training its lead and technical assessors according to international criteria. ENAS also intends to use only technical assessors who have participated in our training course. These courses will not only interpret the standard according to ENAS and ILAC requirements but also train assessors on report writing and assessment skills.
