• Checking the conformity of the Product with the approved standards.
• The organization that manufactured the product has an efficient system for quality management.
• The availability of an efficient system for quality assurance and quality control.
• Calibration in a regular basis for all measuring tools used in the organization.

• Empowering competitiveness for national products in both local and external markets.
• Adding the mark, for products worthy of it, on exclusive documents of the company.
• Increasing consumer's confidence in the product.
• Increasing the sales of the company, based on the confidence resulting from the Mark system.

The requirements of this system are applicable to all companies within the borders of the United Arab Emirates, which manufacture products under the approved standards and which apply to ESMA to get a license of using Emirates quality mark. This can also be applied to Cases approved by ESMA for foreign companies that seek the same license.

• A license of using the Mark is granted to the organization after the fulfillment of the requirements.
• The industrial unit has right to print, engrave or stick the Emirate quality mark on the product in a way that makes it difficult to remove. When there is no enough space on the product or it can be added directly (because of the nature of the product),then the mark can be engraved, printed or stuck on the container of the product or in any way approved by ESMA or the authorized body.
• The organization has the right to put the mark to the products granted the quality mark, on the company's exclusive documents such as the media, commercials and on any document that   refers to the company's activities and any other documents after getting the license from ESMA, but not on other products manufactured that hasn’t been granted the mark.
• It is not allowed to use the mark on product if it does not match with the one that granted the mark.
• The company  has  to  stop  immediately using  the  mark in any area related  to that product  in case the  license  for using  the  quality mark to that product was stopped.
• The organization has the right to put the mark for all products certified on all documents after taking permission from ESMA, ensuring that not to use for the same for uncertified products.
